The UX design team discusses creating habit forming experiences

An air purifier requires maintenance to keep up performance. But it’s hard to tell just from looking at the product when it needs that maintenance. We offer clues that encourage cleaning habits so we can live in cleaner air.

First, we designed the entire Cocoro Air layout with clearly visible maintenance information so you remain aware of it. Secondly, the maintenance screen has a handy list showing you the status of consumables like filters as well as instructions for maintenance. This makes maintenance a less daunting task.

And so you can experience the joy of cleanliness even more, an animation plays when you push the button to complete maintenance.
