Being stimulated by the feeling of ownership

Our refrigerators boast a high market share in Southeast Asia. We strove for a design with an appearance appropriate for the brand that we have built, and just owning one can make you smile. We tried to limit plastic usage as much as possible, making one feel satisfied when touching the metal handle. We were also concerned about the glare from the glass and stainless-steel door material. But having said that, the fact doesn’t change that a refrigerator is an everyday appliance. The width of the doors are different, so simply by opening the right-side door, the user can easily put a Costco pizza into the refrigerator. Moreover, the adjustable shelves that enable the internal refrigerator layout to be flexible is part of our design that considers usability and gels with everyday life because it is an appliance that is used every day. The Sharp refrigerators that we provide to customers are filled with our various ideas.

I’ve been lifting weights for what seems like forever. People always ask me why I do it. Although I’ve come too far to stop now (laughs), I put half a year of training into a bodybuilding contest and then set a personal best. Muscles are like agricultural products. I’ve learned that the answer to why I continue is if I don’t, I won’t achieve my goal.
