I want to support daily clothes washing

COCORO WASH is an app for controlling Front loading washer and dryer. I designed it with “Make washing something people want to focus more on and do” as the concept. I was especially careful designing the content of the home screen so that this app could be a partner that people will use with their daily washing. Weather information and washing indices are shown directly in a manner that it is easy to understand with graphic animations. The middle of the screen displays an encouraging tip, such as “Bath towels will dry today” or “We should wash curtains soon.” By doing this, I hope that customers will naturally develop the desire to “Try washing X today!” each time they use the app. In addition, being able to quickly send washing instructions that suit the type of clothing to the machine without worrying about this and that is a great feeling! The best would be if people who do not like washing very much now, do their washing together with this app and think “Focusing on making things clean feels good! This is fun!”

For me design is something like a fun adventure, continually searching, discovering, testing and making. In my private life, I undertake cooperative research and participate in various seminars and events about things that I think are interesting. Recently, I have been expanding the range of my adventures to overseas. Last year, for example, I participated in a design conference in Hong Kong.
