Seek to do more than combine

This product that combines an air purifier with lighting is a “focus of attention.” With the desire to firmly communicate the appeals of this through the design, I sought to achieve a design that is “a ceiling air purifier as it should be” rather than a clumsy combination. “Harmony” is what I emphasized. I devised a way to elegantly fuse the form necessary for the air and the way it illuminates as a light. The side fins, which express the flow of air, are unified with the soft indirect illumination emitted from the entire cover. I undertook many design iterations and applied a frost finish inspired by mist to the cover, which is responsible for controlling the air direction, to increase the harmony of the product, enabling it to play an excellent supporting role in blending the relationship between air and light into important customer spaces.

I like being blown by wind (except for the harsh winds of society). This includes wind when on a motorcycle or bicycle, when skydiving or paragliding, from a typhoon, between buildings, along a river or at the end of a journey. Making the most of this opportunity to be involved in a product related to air, I want to provide lots of good breezes and good air.
